I have been listening for a while and enjoy the radio station and your show. I have an idea illegals in the carvans. The way to resolve this: First having them process on the Mexican side. Then they need to separate the people from the organizer so they do not feed this mob. Two once they have come up to personnel wanting to claim asylum or refugee status, then have the personnel explain they need to get the names, country of origin, towns where their families are from to process their request ; once that is provided Step Three - explain that the US will provide to their gov't officials in their home countries t why X amount of Aid money will not go to there because they are claiming asylum here and we have X amount of expense to cover for it. Let them know, its non refundable even if the claim for asylum is denied. Most of these people know that their gov't will not take to kindly and may seek retribution with the family members left behind or they can return home if they do not wish to be processing their request. Fourth they should be warned that this information will stay in the database and if they consider to attempt another illegal to enter the US the information will be release to their gov't. I am sure Most if not All will go home. The last thing they want is that their family members be punish for this misdeed. As for the organizers, they should play good cop and bad cop to see which will turn and give name and contacts of the organization that funded this by giving them a deal but it has to check out before any deal will be given. Hopefully then after the republicans can deal with making laws and going after organization and person that encouraging felony crime. I also agree with the caller earlier that stated we should close travel to the countries involve and that consulate be closed and get Americans personnel out. That way they know we are serious and they lose money that way. This will get the attention to the people and countries involved that we are serious and will not take this anymore.
